1. Fiber
- Extends life of your rug by absorbing impact from foot traffic.
- Adds another layer of sound absorption to the room.
- Permits air flow through rug for more efficient vacuuming.

2. Non-slip Fiber
- All of the above with a layer of synthetic rubber on one side to keep rug in place.

3. Foam
-Excellent non-slip characteristics for smaller rugs over hard surface floors.

4. Cleated non-slip foam
-Same characteristics as non-slip foam but has one side cleated for
rugs places over existing carpet.

Soft Fiber Backings
will help to protect the floor (hardwood, laminate) from scratches.

Non-Skid Backings
are very effective at holding a rug in place when there is not sufficient weight (Furniture) on it to do so. Great for doormats, hall runners, and entry rugs.
